CBZ Bank

CBZ Bank Limited is a registered commercial bank and the wholly owned flagship subsidiary of the listed group CBZ Holdings, serving personal and corporate customers. It opened in 1980 as the Bank of Credit and Commerce Zimbabwe, a joint venture between the government and BCCI Holdings, became Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe when the government took the whole shareholding in 1991, and listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange on 29 June 1998. It took the name CBZ Bank Limited when CBZ Holdings began operating in June 2005.
