People's Own Savings Bank

The People's Own Savings Bank is a savings bank that began in December 1904 as the Post Office Savings Bank, a statutory fund for mobilising savings for national development, and operated through the post office network from January 1905 until 1965. From 1965 it was administered by the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, and the People's Own Savings Bank of Zimbabwe Act of 2001 established it as a corporate body separate from PTC. It offers personal, corporate, mortgage and international banking.
